GUATEMALAN BEDSPREADSOne of our most popular items are Guatemalan bedspreads in an array of rich colors. Many of our guests asked where they can buy our beautiful bedspreads after seeing how wonderful they look on our beds, so we decided to start selling them in our shop. We have discovered more uses for these versatile fabrics including curtains, table cloths, and sofa covers. |

GUATEMALAN BEDSPREAD COLORS AND CAREThe bedspreads come in about 15 different colors to compliment any color schemes in your home. Made with silky Sedalina (pearl cotton) and available in single, double, and king sizes. We machine wash in cold water and hang dry our bedspreads so they last longer. |
GUATEMALAN PILLOWCOVERSAnother popular item is our handpicked selection of guatemalan pillow covers made by a cooperative of Mayan women in small villages near Chichicastenango. This ancestral art of weaving is revered for its diverse, colorful, and intricate designs. It's nearly impossible to find two identical covers but they are wonderful to mix and match. They will brighten up any room in your home and are the perfect accent for our bedspreads. They have a zippered, cotton backing and measure approximately 49 cm x 49 cm (19 in x 19 in). |

CHICHICASTENANGO EMBROIDERIESMayan women make these Classical Guatemalan embroidered treasures by foot propelled machines guided by hand. The background fabric is hand-woven on a blackstrap loom in the exact same way it has been done for thousands of years. These shawls were originally used by women to wrap around the shoulders then tied at the waist. However, they are so versatille that they can be use as table runners, wall hangings, couch or seat throws, and window coverings. Their exquisite colors and intricate patterns always make them the center of attention in any room. |
PURSES AND BAGS FROM GUATEMALAWe offer purses, hand bags, pouches, in a variety of shapes, sizes, and uses from Todos Santos, Guatemala.
