Breakfast

Our back patio is where you can enjoy our swimming pool and breakfast under an old mango tree. MedioMundo's breakfast is complimentary and is served only between 8am and 10am. The menu includes 100% fresh-squeezed fruit juices, tropical fruits in season, yogurt, fresh baked breakfast rolls, cold cuts, cheese, marmalades, rich coffee, and a selection of teas.

Gift Shop

We offer fine quality Mexican artisan crafts including ceramic, copper, carved wood; a hand-picked selection of rich Guatemalan textiles including bedspreads, pillow covers, purses and bags; and an exclusive line of earrings made with exotic beads, stones, and sterling silver findings. Open to the public daily from 9 AM to 10 PM.

Check In and Out

Check in at anytime. We have  an English speaking receptionist on duty 24 hours a day. Check out is 12 noon.

Parking

Parking is available in a nearby private lot for $10 US dollars per day with 24 hour access. If you wish to reserve a parking space, please request it in the comments box on your reservation.

Walk-ins without Reservations

We welcome walk-ins without reservations for one night or more when rooms are available.

Payment Policy Once at the Hotel

The outstanding balance for nights reserved is due upon arrival at the hotel. Any payments made are non-refundable after arrival at the hotel.  Other charges including food and beverage consumption, laundry, etc., are on a "pay in cash as you consume" basis.

Smoking

Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Please, no smoking in the rooms. Cigar and pipe smoking are not allowed at all on the property.

About Our Name

MedioMundo means “half the world.” An expression used commonly in Spanish-speaking countries to describe a great number of people with the same interests or at the same event.

About Our Logo

Our logo is a design from a ceramic plate from Iznik, Turkey circa 1560 – 1565. The mandalic image was the inspiration of the hand stenciled corridors.
